Ibn-e-Insha
Ibn-e-Insha
(1927-1978) was a famous Urdu poet and a prose writer. He was born in tehsil Phalore, district Jalandhar, Punjab. He migrated to Pakistan after the independence, and spent much of his time in Karachi.
He is considered as one of the most versatile poets and writers of his generation. His most famous poem Insha je Utthoo (Get up Insha je) is a modern day Classic. His other works include a number of travelogues recorded with a distiguished touch of humour.
